Tutor: Karen Pearson Fine Artist-Painter

Karen has been painting and drawing in a variety of media for 15 years, although she specialises in water based media. She exhibits and sells her work both here and abroad, including major art society open exhibitions in London, and has collected a few awards along the way. ‘Tutoring helps me organise my thoughts on how I do things; I find teaching drawing and painting to people of any age group so very rewarding’

Classes & Workshops in the Garden Studio (Dorking)

Watercolour Classes – Beginer/Improver & Intermediate
New dates start 6th January 2010
Small friendly classes (max 8 people) which allow for more individual help. Using this wonderful medium, watercolour, learn to tackle any subject and create fresh, translucent, atmospheric, vibrant paintings.

Mixed Media workshops (Max 6 people)
New dates for Jan and Feb 2010
Be creative; learn to work from abstract/expressionist to figurative using collage/inks/acrylics/oil pastels etc.
A free and exciting way of producing paintings!

Freestyle Classes (Max 8 people)
Use your preferred media, whether it is oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel etc.; come and develop your knowledge of colour, tone and drawing in order to improve the depth perspective in your paintings.

Workshops/Demonstrations/Critiques
Karen is a regular demonstrator/tutor to art societies/groups and paint clubs in the South East.
