Jane Anderson Wood returns to Denbies for her second exhibition with new watercolour landscapes.
Showing watercolours and acrylics with her will be Jan Syrett, Linda Amos, Mick Pavey, Colin Sharr and Annie Risbridger.

The winner of the Spring Exhibition Visitor's Vote, Betchworth Village Hall, was: "Pecking Order" by Linda Amos. Well done Linda!
Diana King has been fortunate to have had a painting selected to hang at the Mall Galleries in London from 16-20th Dec 2010. This is part of "Art Liberating Lives" Exhibition run by the Sue Ryder Trust. Diana says that she was very priviledged to be a small part of this particular exhibition as it is something so close to her heart.
The winner of the Annual Exhibition Visitors' Vote, at Denbies Wine Estate, was: "Autumn Morning, Fowey" by Chris Forsey. Well done Chris!
10th Surrey Artists Open Studios - A number of DGA members
opened their studios and/or homes this year, including Diana Croft
(Area Co-ordinator), Chris Forsey, Marion Wilcox, Sheilagh Noble, Helen
Campbell-Hart, Chrissie Ferrioli, Liz Holloway, Stuart Stanley, Stella
Mance, Patricia Grant-Clarke and Jan Dagley.

Tessa Spanton has written two articles for Leisure Painter magazine, which were published in the July and August editions.
Diana Croft
recently had work exhibited at the National Theatre as part of the
Greenwich Printmakers 30th Celebration in an exhibition called "Lasting
Impressions", and in July showed work at the Oxo Tower Gallery with the
same group.
Chris Forsey has been accepted as a ssociate member of the Society of Graphic and Fine Artists (SGFA) and narrowly missed RI membership.
Chris will be holding a solo exhibtion at Guildford House Gallery,
Guildford, in March 2010, and at Buckenham Gallery, Southwold, in
October 2010.
Pixham Artists
will be holding an exhibition of work at Denbies from 15th to 20th
February 2010. They are a goup of five artists, all DGA members, who
meet regularly to paint - Julienne Knight, Mary Wardlaw, Elizabeth
Watson, Jean Purnell and Morna Case.
Karen Pearson
has successfully completed 2 out of the 4 years PT Fine Art degree
course at Wimbledon Collage of Art with a 2:1 in the Sculpture Pathway.
She says that she is enjoying the challenge immensely.
Surrey Figurative Artists held their exhibition and sale of work at Denbies in September. The group includes a number of DGA members: Marion Wilcox ., Rosemary Newell, Jacky Cowdrey, Lorna Murray, Stuart Stanley and Julienne Knight.
The winner of the Spring Exhibition Vistors' Vote, at Betchworth Village Hall, was: "Thames Barge and Tower Bridge", by Ben
Manchipp. Well done Ben!
Christ Forsey was
awarded first prize at Denbies' Bacchus Award Art Competition on the
theme of "Time and Tide". His acrylic on canvas painting entitled
"Rocks of Ages" won him the Gold Award and £150. Well done Chris!
Jane Anderson Wood and
some of her students held an exhibition of paintings at the Denbies
Gallery from 9th to 15th February. See some of Jane's excellent work on
